MORE THAN BEFORE

We come from a rich heritage.  Strong, God loving families who've engrained in us a hunger for more of God, and passed down the torch of the spirit of revival.  We grew up as kids playing under church seats while only feet away men and women were being radically shaken by the presence of God.  We've seen and heard the amazing move of God in many ways.  We've seen belligerently drunk alcoholics sober up immediately at the snap of God's righteous fingers.  We've seen the sick healed and made whole.  We've seen death cast out and heard life spoken back in.  We've seen the tormented given peace and a complete, restful mind.  We've seen families that are deeply broken put back together and fully restored.  We've seen the Holy Spirit's overwhelming presence put an entire room full of people face down before God.  And we've personally encountered God's love, and joy, and grace, and peace, and the move of his precious Holy Spirit.

But we want more than before.  More.  MORE.  And because we know God is faithful - we expect it!  Here it comes...

We’ve felt Your presence on the mountain top

From the pooowwwerful story of Elijah in 1 Kings.  One of our favorites.  "The Lord Said 'Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.'" 1 Kings 19:11 

We’ve seen Your glory rising in the clouds

 After Jesus was raised from the dead, he spoke to the disciples, and they watched as he ascended into heaven. "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight." Acts 1:9 
We’ve heard Your voice command the storm to stop

"He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!" Mark 4:37-38

You’ve healed the sick and broken in the crowd
"When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague."  Mark 5:27-29


We want more
Than before

Come like a raging wind
Fill us with fire again
Ohhhh we love the story of Pentecost! On that day, they all met in the upper room to seek God, and his presence showed up like never before.  "Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were fill with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." Acts 2:2-3     
You are the mighty King
Consuming everything, Lord
"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28-29

It's finished it is done, Lord
"Jesus said "It is finished". John 19:30. And after 3 days in the tomb, Jesus conquered death.  Not just for himself in that moment, but for all people, and for all time. There is no argument to be had. No debt to be paid. It's done.  Because he did it.  

All we want is you
